(OSBORN, Mo.) – With $1,000 on the line, the IMCA Modifieds battled for 20 laps before the big check had a recipient. After several early cautions, Cory Wray and Chad Clancy settled into the top two spots. Wray ran the bottom of the racetrack, as did Clancy. The Bud Shootout is one of the staple events on the calendar at US 36 Raceway every year. In 2019 it gets even bigger. The ASCS Warrior Region and Sprint Series of Nebraska headline the action-packed event. This will be the third trip to US 36 this season for the Warrior Region drivers. The Sprint Series of Nebraska, after two rainouts, are making their debut appearance at the high banks. OSBORN, Mo. – Due to heavy morning thunderstorms, US 36 Raceway officials have canceled racing for Friday, June 21. OSBORN, Mo. – US 36 Raceway has tried twice to run Modified Madness presented by St. Joseph Beverage and twice the event has been plagued by weather. Attempt number three has been rescheduled for this Friday, June 28. The IMCA Sport Mods will run the Wayne Hicks Memorial Sport Mod Shootout as part of the event, which will pay a $966 check to the winner. The 20-lap feature will pay $86 to start. The combined Modified Madness and IMCA Sport Mod Wayne Hicks Memorial continues to increase the check handed to the winner at the end of the night. Both the IMCA Sport Mods and IMCA Modifieds will now pay $1,066 to the winner. The Sport Mods are also now $106 to start. The E-Modifieds also got a bump in pay as they will race for $400 to win and $66 to start. The pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the grandstands open at 6 p.m. Hot laps are at 7:30 p.m. and racing starts at 8 p.m.

Big fields of IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods and E-Modifieds all checked in for Modified Madness at US 36 Raceway. The IMCA Sport Mods had a little bit extra on the line as they raced the Wayne Hicks Memorial, which brought a $1,066 payday to the winner. For the fourth time this season, the 360-Sprint racers of the ASCS Warrior will hit the high banks of US 36 Raceway. They will be joined by the 305 drivers of the Sprint Series of Nebraska. The IMCA Modifieds and Pure Stocks are also racing. The pits open at 5 p.m. The grandstands open at 6 p.m., with hot laps at 7:30 p.m. and racing at 8 p.m. Tickets for the event are $25 for general admission, $22 for senior and military, $8 for children 7-12 and 6 and younger are free.
