Due to unseasonably cool temps and high winds US 36 Raceway officials have made the decision to cancel racing for Friday, April 12, Season Championship Night #2. US 36 Raceway hoped the forecast would improve during the week but the temperatures remained too cold and forced US 36 to make the decision to cancel. After a one-week break, US 36 Raceway readied for the second night of racing action in 2019 and for the second week of the season, the IMCA Modifieds provided one of the best races of the night. The Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series is set to make a return to the high banks of US 36 Raceway this Friday, April 26. IMCA Sport Mods and Pure Stocks are also on the card. OSBORN, Mo. – Before Thomas Kennedy showed the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Cars around the high banks of US 36 Raceway, two classes that contest weekly at US 36 took to the track for their features. As US 36 Raceway prepares for the ASCS Warrior Region and Sprint Series of Nebraska to hit the high banks this Friday, May 10, preparation for the Pure Stock Shootout and Modified Madness has started as well.
