Due to unseasonably cool temps and high winds US 36 Raceway officials have made the decision to cancel racing for Friday, April 12, Season Championship Night #2. US 36 Raceway hoped the forecast would improve during the week but the temperatures remained too cold and forced US 36 to make the decision to cancel. Although US 36 dealt with some opening night hiccups, the drivers on track made sure to remind everyone racing was back and showed the offseason rust was gone. After a long and cold winter, teams are preparing to make the trek to the 3/8ths mile high banks for the first race of the year. With forecasted rain for race day on Friday, March 29, US 36 Raceway officials have made the decision to cancel the Rumble in the Bullring. US 36 apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause. The opening night for US 36 will now be on April 5 with the beginning of the Season Championship featuring all six weekly classes, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA 305 Sprint Cars, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Mods, E-Modifieds and Pure Stocks.

US 36 Raceway is adding a practice to the schedule Wednesday, March 27 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. After cancelling practice on Saturday, US 36 wants to allow drivers the opportunity to make some laps around the 3/8th mile racetrack before opening night. An updated 2019 schedule for US 36 Raceway has been posted. Highlighting the update is the addition of the Missouri IMCA Nationals. The Missouri IMCA Nationals will take place October 9-12, 2019 and will feature IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sprint Cars, IMCA Stock Cars and IMCA Sport Mods.
