Clancy, Masoner, Potter, Stallbaumer, Dishong and Starmer Winners on July 10 at US 36 Raceway

OSBORN, Mo. – A strong field of race cars checked in to race at US 36 Raceway on July 10. A mix of new and return winners in 2020 made for an entertaining night.

In the IMCA Modifieds, Chad Clancy got out front on lap one and cruised to his second trip to Westfall GMC Victory Lane in 2020. Steven Bowers Jr. charged up to a second place finish, his sixth top five of the season. Josh Munsen finished third, with current points leader Chad Andersen in fourth. Mark Schafman completed the top five.

With a dominating performance, Carson Masoner picked up his first career win in the IMCA Stock Car feature. One week after letting one slip away late, this time Masoner drove away from the field to pick up the win and celebrate in victory lane. Brad Derry moved up to finish second after starting 10th. Randy Smith Jr., current points leader JJ Baumli and Mich Ross completed the top five.

The IMCA Sprint Cars saw a new face in victory lane as Kenny Potter earned his first win of the season. Early on, Potter and Tyler Drueke battled for the lead before Drueke broke and went pit side. Chris Couch finished second with Austin Couch in third.

The IMCA Sport Mods put on one of the best battles of the night as Tim Stallbaumer, Steven Clancy and Tim Eaton all fought for the win late in the race. Eaton worked the bottom while Clancy worked the top. Stallbaumer kept both lanes covered and got his second win of the season. Clancy finished second with Eaton third. Chris Wright and Royce Stanley completed the top five.

The E-Modifieds saw a new winner in 2020 in Chris Dishong. Dishong has won in previous years at US 36, but this marked his first win of the season. Dishong bided his time, working through the field from at 10th place starting position. Justin Asher followed him through the field to finish second after starting 12th. Rookie of the year competitor Colton Couch finished third, with Gary Ainsworth fourth and Ricky Bobby in fifth.

Tyler Starmer earned his first win of 2020 in the Pure Stock in dominating fashion. He took the lead early and never looked back. Nate Barnes finished second with George Bruning in third. Gracie Couch and Brian Peters completed the top five.

Up next at US 36 Raceway is a visit from the ASCS National Tour. The IMCA Modifieds and E-Modifieds are also racing.
