OSBORN, Mo. – As the season starts to come to a close, as only two points nights remain, US 36 Raceway has a lot going on this Friday, August 2.
Headlining the night is the Modified Blowout presented by Lent Prints. The IMCA Modifieds are racing for $1,500 to win. The IMCA Sport Mods are racing for $1,000 to win. The E-Modifieds are racing for $500 to win.
The IMCA Stock Cars will also fight for a $1,000 to win race. The Pure Stocks join in on the fun as they race for $500 to win.
The night will also feature Miller Welding Public Safety Night. All public safety workers get free admission to the nights event. This includes police officers, firefighters, nurses, doctors, EMT’s, correction officers, current military and veterans.
US 36 still has more to offer as it is also Back to School Night. US 36 will be giving away backpacks of school supplies. School supply donations are being accepted to help fill those backpacks. Several bikes will also be given away. To add to the fun, we will also have a face painting station available.
The IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods, IMCA Stock Cars, Pure Stocks and E-Modifieds will also be in action. The IMCA Sprint Cars have the week off. The pits open at 5 p.m. and the grandstands open at 6 p.m. Hot laps start at 7:30 p.m. and racing starts at 8 p.m. Tickets for the event are $15 for general admission, $12 for seniors, $5 for children seven to 12 years of age and children six and younger are free.
